The West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) is carrying out the dredging of water channels in the Tambora Flats area, RW 11, Angke Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district.
The channels in the flat area become cleaner and free from flooding
Tambora Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Agus Purwanto said the draining of the water channel was conducted up to 350 meters with the width of the channel varying between 60 - 80 centimeters.
"It is carried out to accommodate water in large quantities and to smoothen water flow," he expressed, Friday (7/5).

Tambora Sub-district Head, Holi Susanto added his party would like to thank the Tambora Sub-district SDA Unit for following up on the draining of water channels in the Tambora Flats area.
"Hopefully, the channels in the flat area become cleaner and free from flooding after dredging," he stated.
